Meet our family: Alif, Tahira, Zuri-Nasim, and Guinness the Dane!

Alif and Tahira were both born and raised in Kenya. Their journey has taken them across continents—from Kenya to Canada and the United Arab Emirates, where they currently live. Along the way, they welcomed their daughter, Zuri, in 2012 and added Guinness the Dane to their family in 2017, completing the pack.

Naturally nomadic, they’ve always been drawn to exploring the world and immersing themselves in new cultures. Alif has a deep passion for camping, while Tahira leans more toward glamping. Zuri, their adventurous daughter, shares her father’s love for the outdoors. To blend their passions, they found common ground in overlanding, which sparked their journey into this unique lifestyle.

The adventure doesn’t stop there—Alif and Zuri have also become a father-daughter mountain climbing duo, taking on new heights and challenges together. Their shared love for the mountains has added another exciting chapter to their family story.

Thus began their overlandintel journey, a blend of Alif’s drive to challenge himself, Tahira’s love for travel, Zuri’s curiosity, and Guinness’ unwavering companionship.
